The Lock/Unlock button on the dash doesn't light-up at all, and pressing it does nothing. My durametric shows codes 12 (Wrong Door Lock Module) and 61 (Central locking limit position Unlock not reached). With the durametric I can lock the doors, and when I do the LED on the Lock/Unlock button comes on for me. But still nothing with the FOB.
Vw golf mk4 my rear passenger door willnot open with central locking key system. i can't even open it from the inside, pull the door handle and the lock pin rises but door won't open. i believ This worked for me on 2008 Mk5 Golf, after the rear passenger door would not open fro outside or inside.
Door lock button. Cars with a central locking system will have a button inside the car that can be pressed to lock and unlock the vehicle. These buttons are useful if you want to lock the car while you are driving, or easily lock and unlock the doors from your seat. Often these buttons are on the door or in the center console.
I had the noise of my front passenger door trying to auto lock and it has a lock or tow dried out and sticking. Once drilled with a 3mm bit and some WD-40 then hole plugged with a Fiber patch cable dust cap. The locks work fine and no longer get the re-locking sound.
A second Unlock input from the transmitter applies battery positive voltage to the door lock actuator unlock control circuit, and a ground to the door lock actuator lock control circuit to unlock the passenger doors. This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTCs: • DTC B3128 Left Front/Driver Door Unlock Circuit High
What happens is when I lock the car from the drivers door the car will lock but immedietly unlock itself unlocking all doors. So I then have to lock it again to lock the car. It then remains locked. I had a look at the drivers solenoid and it was abit worn so replaced the lock and solenoid but the problem persists.
Key itself will open drivers door, rear doors, boot and disable the alarm, also re-locks said doors and enables alarm; no movement of passenger front door lock. Again, proof of front door lock motors being burnt out. The key has a manual linkage to the drivers door lock so will ALWAYS open it - even if it's superlocked.
